I wish I could help you understand. I am a black woman living in America and this situation has made me physically sick some days. And the worst part is so many people defending racism with some strange reasonings. I am so hopeful we will see the change that is LONG overdue in America.
Yes, I think we are all disappointed in injustice, racism, misjudgments, fighting, vandalism, violence, destruction and looting....in addition to this happening during COVID19. I definitely have opinions. I want to speak out but at times I am speechless....at a loss to even express my thoughts....never wanting to say the wrong thing....but not wanting to be quiet which could also send a wrong message. I am searching for words. I am also aware of much going on, but realizing that unless I have a reliable source of information, I may not have all the facts. Social media and news broadcasts are usually parts of the story. I know that every country around the world suffers with such sins and it manifests itself differently. All of us, no matter what country, has similar issues with the hate and anger raging in our hearts which is best rectified through healing, love and the power of Jesus. I am NOT saying "Make American great again".... I want to "Make America KIND." Please Lord Jesus, MOVE on the hearts of people.
"If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others. Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death-- even death on a cross! Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth," Philippians 2:1-10
Though I am not so aware of the current situation there, I salute your bravery to stand against the authority..
